Rare Bird Sightings

The online reporting form for submitting rare birds sightings has been removed temporarily because it is no longer fully functional. Technical improvements are being made presently to various parts of the Society’s website, including for submitting rare birds sightings. It is hoped that improvements will be completed in early 2022. We appreciate that this is inconvenient for members wishing to submit online sightings of rare birds, and for this we apologise. In the meantime, you can either download and submit the form (in Word format) using postal mail, or by email (by attaching scanned documents). Alternatively, you can hold your records and continue to make observations until the online facility is up and running again.
Two parts of the rare birds website continue to operate normally:
- To learn more about reportable species visit our Rare Bird Sightings page.
- You can also search the Unusual Bird Report online database.
